What’s clear though is nobody switches before 6 months of age, though most people will switch before 12 months old. Your dog can think you’re playing, and annoying behaviors like mouthing can quickly escalate to nipping.

This mostly applies to smaller breeds. It's odd because when she throws up it isn't like typical throw up, it is almost. They still have puppy characteristics but are getting slightly taller, longer and their muzzle is lengthening.
